This Sewing Machine Orchestra is a sound and light performance by Canadian performer, composer and artist, Martin Messier. The orchestra consists entirely of the acoustic noise from 8 Singer sewing machines circa the 1940′s. All the machines are interlinked with a micro-controller system and do not require any human interaction.
