Scott Weaver is an artist who has been building a piece entitled “Rolling Through the Bay” for 35 years. The sculpture highlights San Francisco landmarks and is made up of 100,000 toothpicks. It also enables you to take a “tour” of the city by watching ping pong balls roll through different routes. Weaver has been updating the structure for decades, and has even replaced parts such as the Golden Gate bridge. The piece is currently on display at Tinkering Studio until June.
