If Tim Burton, Hieronymus Bosch, and Jeff Lebowski had gotten together to create art, the fabulously spooky, imaginative and intricate works of Joe Fenton would have been the result. This piece, called Solitude, is 5 feet tall and 8 feet wide. Fenton drew this piece in it’s entirety in graphite before going over it in ink and acrylic. Along with his large scale pieces, Fenton has illustrated two children’s books, though the only child we can see actively enjoying these books is this one.
