CITYSHRINKER is a series of photographs by Ben Thomas for which he uses a technique called tilt-shift photography. Said practice is performed by employing certain camera movements to create selective focus, critical when simulating a miniature scene.
Ben’s work is comprised of intricate photography of miniature city models that are carefully constructed as art works themselves. Cities used thus far include Paris (pictured above), London, Tokyo, and Sydney, and not only include overall city scenes, but also popular places of interest.
